Since its inception in 1979, Rickway Kennels has been producing some of the highest quality of Labrador Retrievers in Canada. The Rickway name can be found in the ancestory of top winning conformation and obedience dogs in Canada and the USA.

Our Labrador breeding stock carries clearances for, Pra-prcd, hips, elbows and heart also Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Hereditary Nasal Parakeratosis (HNPK) as well as Dilution Locus D (Silver gene). We are continuously adding clearances to our existing stock as they become available . At Rickway, we just don’t stress clearances, temperament and soundness, we breed and test for them.

I am proud to say that our guarantee is of a longer duration than most of our competitors and covers both show and pet puppies, there is no discrimination. A “puppy is a puppy” whether winning in the ring or warming up a coveted place on the couch.

I am a member of the Canadian Kennel Club, Labrador Retriever Club of Manitoba, Labrador Retriever Club of Canada.

I am also a CKC Licensed All Breed Judge for Canada and the USA.
